Hello folks I want to switch an A/B relay remotely by applying 12V through the coax. I have a pair of MFJ bias tees for that, never used before.
When I apply the 12V and measure with my DVM on the 'RF only' coax terminal, there is some diminishing DC voltage for a brief period, say about 2 seconds (DVM not really fast). I assume this is the DC blocking (series) capacitor loading or discharging (when removing the 12V). Should I worry about this? Can this hurt the K3 in any way? Or can I just go along? Better safe than sorry...
