Hi all, I aligned the KAF2 using a XG1 and Spectrogram. I tried the broadband noise method, but found the line for the peak very coarse, it seemed the XG1 peak was much more stable and easier to discern. Regardless, I thought I had R1 and R2 really dialed in for both AF1 and AF2.
AF1 seems to perform as it should: ever so slight drop in signal strength, but nice audio filtering. AF2, however, causes a significant drop in signal strength. The instructions suggest that AF2 should have no drop, and, if anything, a slight increase in gain. Any ideas where I'm going wrong? 73 N5BCN - Brian ----- K2 #6800 KPA100/KAT100-2, KSB2, KAT2, KIO2, K160RX, KNB2, KAF2, LP-PAN/K2 w/ Pre-amp, SignaLink USB -- View this message in context: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/K2-Trouble-dialing-in-KAF2-s-AF2-tp6443013p6443013.html Sent from the Elecraft mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
