Jerry, The best way to recover is to remove the plastic from the P1 body and then remove the pins from the board one at a time. You may be able to slide the plastic bar off, but if not, break it with your cutters. Clean up with solder wick, and if solder remains in the holes, a heated stainless steel needle or a wooden toothpick can be used to open the holes.
