Hi John, Thanks for the suggestion; but I wouldn't think RF would be the issue, since the rig did the same lock-up even with the rig power control all the way CCW. It acted more like a control issue. I will re-install it in the 6 meter station using an XV50 and a brick amplifier, where it will be wired to an Astron power supply, not a battery.

You might try it in place of your K3 for awhile to see if it acts up at your home station. 73, John N1JM K3 #2555 Arizona -- View this message in context: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/SSB-net-announcement-tp6279368p6520407. html Sent from the Elecraft mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
