Matt, If tuning L1 and L2 do not procuce peaks within about 3 turns from the top there is something wrong. The most probable thing is that the capacitors in the bandpass circuit are the wrong value. Check C5 and C7 (100 pf - 101), C4 and C8 (820 pf - 821) and C6 (4.7 pf). My first guess is that you may have the 82 pf (marked 820) capacitors in the C4 and C8 positions.
