John, As I recall, Wayne had promised a firmware routine that will compensate to 0.25 ppm (or some other number much better than the spec'ed 0.5) at some time, but I think it is now way down on the list. I believe there are two reasons for it being low on the list. First, the present high stability TCXO more than meets the requirement of 0.5 ppm stated in the K3 specification. Secondly, there were many requests that the external reference be implemented as soon as possible, so that option to increase the stability and accuracy of the K3 was persued instead of other items on the list.
