Randy, Larry, Tom, John, Ron, Rick, Gordon et al - Thanks for the excellent feedback on the various factors that effect SENDING differences. I've always focused so much on trying to copy that I never realized how much difference could exist when you use a "non-cw" rig like the 706 to send code! It truly is a huge difference. I'll have a little fun tonite exploring the modes and adjusting (the Icom) just to get a better feel of the effect of mode, spacing, lag time etc. OR maybe I'll just get the external amp finished and get back to my smooth as silk K2 sooner!
