Thanks, Don. I will speak with a local club member who has a K3 (and K2/100) and find out more. Some other postings received today have also helped me to see what is intended for the KX3 PBT/roofing filter arrangements. I've tried the IF-stage DSP in the Yaesu FT-450D. It has about three pre-set bandwidths per mode (CW and SSB anyway); continuous b/w obviously looks more attractive.
