Yes. Refer to the "PLY" menu entry description. While PLY is displayed,
you can tap the VFO knob to select P=0 mode.
There are two other ways to disable transmit:
1. Put the KX1 into SPEED set mode.
2. Tune 5 kHz or more outside any ham band. You can still key the rig
and listen to the sidetone in this mode.
