Hi I have just joint the elecraft mailing list as I am interested in the K3. However I am a Linux user, and as such always have problems with (not) available software from vendors of most equipment for Ham Radio, among other things.
I have already sent a couple of emails to K3 support but so far no reply. I would like to know if it is possible to do firmware upgrade in Linux somehow, as the Elecraft utility programs will not run on my 64-bit Arch Linux platform. I can write software for Linux but I need the interface API to do this, I wonder if Elecraft would supply whatever info is needed to write a simple program to update firmware.
