There is not enough "magic" in those commands to set a memory channel--FA/FB sets VFO frequency, MD sets mode, MC recalls memory channel. Nothing in that set of commands writes a memory channel nor manipulates the text string that can be stored with a memory channel from the memory editor. So far I have not been able to divine how to set a memory channel from the programmers reference.
