This a short video of our SOTA team who hiked Almagre Mtn (12,367') on August 17, 2011 to activate the summit for Summits on the Air (SOTA) via ham radio. Team members were Naomi/SOTAlogger, Chuck/N6UHB, Steve/wGØAT, Maggie/Lead Guide, Mike/Expedition Photographer, and last but not least our faithful Sherpa goats Rooster and Peanut who did the old goat's heavy lifting. Equipment was K2 and Buddipole Vertical Dipole.
