Tomorrow is Field Day. It's a great time to hit the road, find a great
spot to operate, and have fun. All your Elecraft gear was designed with
Field Day in mind, and we'd love to hear you on the air.
I'll be doing a solo, backpacking-style effort this year, using the KX1
running from internal batteries. I've been saying for two years now
that one set of six AA lithiums would last an entire FD in the KX1, and
now I get to prove it ;)
