Yep. And if you don't really have the time or energy to tweak everything, use the Elecraft factory defaults. Except for the Rx Eq to compensate for being nearly deaf, and setting the Tx Eq to what K9YC suggested, I'm pretty much at the defaults, and they seem to work great. I seem to hear a lot more than I can work.
