Dave, The band data (when decoded) will allow you to connect both of your 80 meter antennas to the K3 - one to ANT1 and the other to ANT2 (assuming you have the KAT3 installed). Your external antenna switching relay system (working from the band data decode) is responsible for connecting the correct 80 meter antenna to ANT1 and the other one to ANT2. The relay system should connect both of them when you are on 80 meters.
Then you use the K3 ANT button to switch between ANT1 and ANT2. The same system can be used to handle two antennas on any one band.
