Thanks, Alan. Good info. I'm curious about the splitter cable. Can you describe it in more detail? The solo jack was able to pass audio in both directions? I read somewhere that it had to be manually switched in the Sys Prefs|Sound gizwadget. (These new Mac terms . . . . :-D )
