Don't feel bad Curt, I just fixed a cold solder join this week in the VCO area. While it was apart I did a re-alignment. Today I took the rig out on my patio and signals were REALLY weak. It took me a while to find the VCO problem so now I was thinking "Now what? It was recieving fine yesterday!". I sat there a while listening to the bands then went to pack everything up. I found I had the counterpoise and long wire connections backwards! So, I was listening on a short piece of wire laying on the ground. hihi 73 de Al, W2GZN
