Hello Kjeld! Increasing the filter gain value does not make the K3 receiver more sensitive, nor does it compromise dynamic range.
The purpose of allowing adjustment of the filter gain parameter for each installed roofing filter is to *balance* the signal level prior to the AGC detector.
