Will my DC h10-40s work on the K3? I am using a David Clark h10-40 aviation headset that I modified with new connector and cable etc to work with my kenwood ts430 rig and it works well with good reports and nice audio in the earphones. I was wondering how well the K3 will work with these, the mic is a 150 ohm noise canceling electret that needs minimum 9V according to DC specs, but seems to work fine using the 8V on the kenwood mic connection. Will the K3 work OK with a mic at just 150 ohms? I realize I'll have to rewire the 8pin mic connector on the headphones since the wiring is a little different than the kenwood with the 8V power is on a different pin on the K3. I love these headphones as they are dead quiet both at the mic with its noise canceling, and in the earphones. Perfect for working in a noisy place like a tent full of loud ops on field day.
