Do you have a factory built K3? If so, the subRX AUX ANT is connected to the BNC jack, not to the ANT port that the MAIN is using. To do what I believe you want to do, you will have to installed the TMP cable that came with your K3 between the Sub AUX RX input and the KAT3.
