Hi Don, Well, I've just been allocating frequencies to the "Per-band quick memories" which I've set up using M1/M2/M3/M4 keys. I tap M>V, then M1-M4 to recall the frequency allocated to that key on a per-band basis. The text flashes for an unreadable instant in the VFO B area and then is gone.
When I allocate text to the general purpose memory slots (00-99) and use the VFO A to select them, the text labels do show as you describe - I just did that and checked. But if I use the M1-M4 keys, or the "quick memories" 00-09 using the two switch tap short cut, then the text labels don't show. I seems that when you use these "switch tap" memory allocations, the labels might not show, but that seemed strange to me since you are able to allocate text labels for those positions in the K3 Frequency Memory Editor application. Curious, but perhaps that's just the way it is? 73, John VK7JB -- View this message in context: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/K3-Memory-text-labels-tp6854714p6854896.html Sent from the Elecraft mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
