That's great Iain - tnx! But WHY give someone a "599" report when they have an S1 signal? They made the contact. They got into the log. That's the goal. Why lie about the signal strength?
If someone asked about their signal I'd hope they got an honest reply. (I feel the same way about contests, but the justification there is that a "signal report" is required by the rules for a valid contact.
