I hadn't been able to get on the air very much from my home QTH, but I had a blast over the weekend working some CW with my K2 at our field day site here in Southern Indiana. I had prevously only worked 5 CW contacts in mid 90's when I first got licensed, and have only been able to muster up 3 since I finished my K2. I think I did about 21 or so during field day before I finally left for the night at 3 am. Not great, but really gave me a thrill. Had to work around a little receiver overload from the adjacent stations, but all went well. I am very pleased.
