Hello all, After nearly 8 months of work I finally got on the air this morning. I made 2 SSB contactas on 40m. The first was with WB3FIE and he gave me a 57 and then on the same qso I got another report from VA3ZW, he gave me a 56 report. Both stations said the audio quality was very good and the were surprised to hear that I was operating on 10 watts. I can't take credit for the final alignment that was done by Don W3FPR and he also fixed my KAT2 problems. So now I can spend more time enjoying my radio, although I enjoyed building my radio, I'm glad for now I'm done.
