I have been slowly assembling K3 #5642. Progress has been uneventful up to the point where I am to install the top cover on the basic 10w version, prior to calibration and testing. The mid-point of the left side of the top cover does not sit down sufficiently. It appears that the chassis stiffener is a bit too high on that side (the KPA3 shield has been installed). I investigated and it appears to me that the cup-like structure that the screw enters on the left end of the stiffener is vertically misplaced, causing that end of the stiffener to be too high for the top cover. The stiffener does not appear to be bent in any way. Everything else has fit perfectly. I would appreciate any suggestions.
