Hi guys. Even if I like very much HRD I decided to stop with it due to stressing faults (I really hate) in serial communication that suddenly and frequently cause AGC going off. I'm a Mac user and right now I virtualized at it an XP Pro just and only to run HRD. I'm planning to move to a 100% OSx native application for digi modes. I'm thinking to Fldigi or MacLoggerDx/cocoa ... or anything else, any suggestion it will be appreciated.
I use Signalink Usb and I already saw it works from Mac side (Fldigi decodes traces perfectly) I'm not OSx skilled so I'd need some help/suggestions from Mac users relevant to Usb/rs232 adapter under OSx (I use Keyspan USA19H-1) because right now I have installed driver only into the virtualized XP machine. Now I have to install (I think) something (I'm not sure "driver" it should be the appropriate word) under Mac, to let Fldigi (or whatever else app for digi) CAT running. My questions are: 1) are there any special attention to pay during Usb/232 "driver" installation in OSx ? 2) having the adapter configured under OSx and XP virtualized, will the adapter work in both machines Mac and XP (I'd like for a time to have the possibility to use HRD or Fldigi, not simultaneously of course, just to train myself) ? Many thanks in advance to everybody for help, best 73 Giorgio -- View this message in context: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/K3-and-Fldigi-on-a-Mac-tp6926535p6926535.html Sent from the Elecraft mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
