One and All.... I am mighty proud of myself. After 20 years not hitting a lick on CW I discovered a few weeks a go I could copy 10WPM solid! Was I ever depressed. With a K1 and a KX1 as my primary operating I knew I had to do something fast. I ordered K7QO's CD through FISTS in Michigan and it is a new concept to me in learning CW and the program helps to develop immediate character recognition which I think is usually our problem.
When I was going for my 13 WPM back in 1961 I had an awful time with the letter "L" and finally in desperation my teacher said "Whenever you you don't know a letter just write down "L"! it worked. But the good news now is after 2 or 3 weeks with using the K7QO program I am copying 20 WPM. This may be off topic a little bit...
