This is a fairly new K3 and I am finally getting around to checking it out after what I thought was an uneventful assembly.
CW works fine. Have not tried data. However, SSB from the front jack does not work. I am using Elecraft MH-2 microphone. MIC SEL is set to FP.L bIAS. Microphone works fine on my K2. Have also tried a Heil HM-4 with what I believe is the proper adapter. I can key the transmitter, but once again no audio. I plugged a gaming headset into the back and got some audio, but I can't speak for its quality. Does anyone have tips on what I could look at or further testing?
