Ray, The W2 is *not* transceiver specific, it will work with any transceiver, Elecraft or other.
It will also work fine with your K2. Where you place it depends on where you wish to read the SWR. If you are interested in seeing the SWR at the input to the KAT100, then place it between the KPA100 and the KAT100 - but really, I can not understand why you would want to do that, the KAT100 LEDs will tell you the same SWR. If your interest is in the SWR at the end of the transmit feedline, then you place it after the KAT100.
