We were at Toys-R-Us today, and we found an aluminum case that could be very useful for those wishing to transport their KX1 and accessories around. It is in the gamers section and is a case for the Nintendo DS hand held game unit (plus accessories). It's called the "Pro Gamer's Kit" and is manufactured by Intec. It's aluminum and has a carrying handle and looks just like a mini photography case, the kind photog's use.
It is already compartmentalized, and the KX1 pretty much fits in the "hole" where the Nintendo DS would go. With a bit of padding in the lid to hold the KX1 solid, it should make a fine unit to carry or store the KX1. This is NOT a backpackers case. Much to big. But if you want something to store your KX1 in or carry it to and from the car, this might be it.
