Hi Jacob, Last week, I replaced a defective headphone jack on my K2 (the speaker didn't work anymore). You need only to remove the top cover, then the two screws that hold the control board to the front panel, then the four screws that hold the Front Panel to the chassis. You can then unplug the Front Panel assembly and you will have a good access to the headphone jack. The most serious part of the job is to desolder the defective jack. If you want to refer to some Elecraft documentation, I suggest the KSB2 manual on page 16 "Front Panel Components" (my version is Revison E, July 20, 2004). It explains exactly what I'm telling you.
Good luck, de Raymond, F4FNT K2/100 5,636, k3/100 0615. ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
