It should work quite well. The K2 is a bit low on audio gain, and the CM500 is a very hot mic, which compensates nicely. You will need to make a simple cable adapter (female 1/8-in jack to a mic connector that fits the K2), and you need a 5.6K resistor between +8V on the K2 mic jack and the mic input.
