My DX club newsletter reports that the HK0NA expedition will put Malpelo on the air some time around Jan 24, 2012. The expedition will feature K3s and KPA500s on all bands. I don't have actual data, but it seems that of all the DXpeditions that I've worked this year, half the radios have been Elecrafts. There was just one (now I can't remember which) that featured two K2-100s. Those of us who use an Elecraft radio for DXing from the safety and comfort of the home shack find it hard to imagine toting any other radio on a DXpedition.
