Beta Releases of K3 firmware are released as .zip files and are not automatically recognized by K3Utility.
We do this as an extra step to insure those loading the release understand this is beta test firmware for user testing, and it not a formal release of K3 firmware. It has already been tested here, so it is usually very stable.
