Further to my mail yesterday, I am now able to confirm that my system is running with TX INHibit in use.
Primary control between RX and TX is achieved with a footswitch controlling my sequencer. That in turn controls TX INHibit. So, unless I hit the footswitch, the K3 will not produce any power from PTT, VOX, XMIT, TUNE or internal voice keyer. It is, I think, as near foolproof as possible, which is just what I wanted ! It'll get a good test tomorrow, we have an 8 hour 2m contest on Sunday.
