Look also for the USS Kidd, DD-661, a 1943 Fletcher class destroyer, from Baton Rouge LA during the Museum Ships Special Event. Callsign will be W5KID.
Since there are overnight groups on the ship Friday and Saturday we'll be able to stay on board from 0001Z 16 July straight through until about 1900Z 17 July, or from Friday 7pm CDT until Sunday 4 pm CDT. Lots of 20 meter SSB operation near 14250 or so, and plan to do as much CW and QRP as possible. Jupiter for the QRO rig, and K2, K1 and maybe even KX1 for QRP.
