I agree and used the SS on the K3 kit because I knew that the rig would go seaside and to Hawaii a few times. Not available for the P3 or KPA500.
My suggestion is to simply send out ONLY SS screws (even if US$15 more) and it becomes a non-issue. All kits/builds, all metal screws, all stainless. Simpler to stock too.
