I subscribe to a group dedicated to the other "gold standard" DX radio. Here is a paraphrase of a query that was sent to that group from a DX station after the CQWW. The station had radio X at the main position, and a K3 at the multiplier position:
...all the operators complained about the signals in heavy pile-ups on CW on the low bands. It was very difficult to distinguish the different signals. They told me that it was easier to work the pileups with the K3.... I'm sure this won't change anybody's mind about anything, but....I'm just sayin' 73, Tony KT0NY -- http://www.isb.edu/faculty/facultydir.aspx?ddlFaculty=352 ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
