Nope - you just have an early K3 with steel pins between the motherboard and the PA. They have become tarnished with heat, and won't pass the current. All early K3s can expect to have this problem sooner or later, IMHO. That was a big 'oops' - newer K3s have gold pins. K3 Support can send you pictures of a 'bypass surgery' mod that will be a good workaround. I did it, and have had no further problems.
