"Ham Radio Magazine" was my favorite Homebrewer's journal throughout its
years of publication. 

And for many Hams today who want to understand a little more about
electronics and the various basic building blocks in our rigs today, it's
still timely today. For example the excellent article "Basic Electronic
Units" in the October '68 issue. 

Like QST of the 50's and 60's, if the circuit was published in Ham Radio,
you could depend upon it to work. That's something lacking so often in the
mags today, even QST.
