Hi All, Please ignore the bit about the faint data noise in my previous post. It was my WIFI router. I guess I'll have to live without internet now. :)
However the "no receive" problem still remains. I think I may have damaged the Q10 2N7000 in the rf preamp/mute circuit. I found another owner on the web with the same problem. He stated that he removed the Q10 and the problem went away, and then replaced it with a new 2N7000. -can I remove the Q10 and leave the space blank for testing? -if I do need to replace it, what is the proper one to get? Digikey lists a lot of 2n7000 with varying specs. Thanks for your help, Mike ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
