You did read the comments below the video, right? Water cooled heat sink, 20% pulse duty, current limited supply, etc?? I'm not saying that it isn't a rugged transistor, but that video doesn't really represent full disclosure.
Besides, I'm kinda missing your point. Are you suggesting that Elecraft should design an amp around this device?
