Hi, I had a similar problem with setting power. Sometimes it would take several turns to get the power set where I wanted it especially after the radio had been on for a while. It took over six months to convince Elecraft there was a problem. Finally, they send a new power encoder which I installed. Works as it should now. Be sure you are well versed in soldering before tackling it. Your problem may could be something different. Keep it in front of support is my best advice. Take pride in the USA. 73
