Larry, A K3 (with sub-receiver and ant tuner) and P3 with your KPA-500 would be equivalent, functionally, to the IC 756 PRO II and KPA-500 you now have. Of course, it would work a lot better because the K3's RX is superior to the PRO II's (I think).
