I believe the original question was in regards to the Yamaha CM500, and with Wayne's assurance that a 3 circuit jack will work, then the answer is YES - just plug in the MIC plug of the CM500 and it should work. Use the XMIT switch for PTT or use VOX - no adapter necessary. If one wants a PTT switch, the adapter box I mentioned earlier would be required, or some other form of PTT input such as the serial port control.
