Whilst paying attention to the Mic wiring discussion I wonder about using
the KX3 as a Mobile HF rig.

Am I correct in thinking the Elecraft Mic will function nicely, but, to
enable hands free use are you looking at whatwill be a suitable headset
including PTT will suit, as in my case VOX is not an option.

Ambient noise in the vehicle is one issue, my constant fidgeting is another
issue entirely...:-(
