The solar panned have to go to the charge controller that regulates it to 12 v in my case my solar setup has 12v at 14 amps that os used to charge my battery bank. I would just hook up to the battery bank and let it charge from there. Or for field use get a small portable one that rolls up that has the regulator built in.
