Also, it has been suggested that I should note that the values of the switched reactances in all Elecraft tuners are powers of two from one to the other (as close as commonly available parts values and accuracy of toroid winding allow). That prevents *multiple* combinations of relay positioning from creating the *same* effective value of inductance or capacitance.
