No, I'm afraid that what I'm talking about is the crosstalk between power supply noise and audio circuits is occurring inside the computer, not between the computer and rig. It's a hardware design flaw that no amount of bonding is going to cure. The noise I'm talking about is there if you use the built-in mic on the laptop. Believe me, I tried all according to the K9YC bible which has been an invaluable aid over the years.
