VFO linking must be per-band. Check the owner's manual sections on "Linking" and "Unlinking" VFOs. I don't have a K3 right here with me to be more specific.
Please don't bang your head on the desk! You may need it someday! 73 de Dick, K6KR -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Chip Sent: Friday, January 27, 2012 4:26 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Elecraft] K3 6m VFOs slaved ../me banging head on desk.. A/B VFOS are independant on HF but NOT on 6m. Split operation functions fine, HF & 6m. On 6m if I set VFO A then VFO B to another freq...the difference is sustained as I change VFO A, Not VFO B. Cant find what I have set wrong. All Firmware upgrades are done.
